Business and Marketing Progression Event

Activities on the day will include:

The Apprentice Task
Students will take part in 'The Apprentice' task, where students will be asked to come up with an innovative product or service for university students. They will then be asked to produce a short 'elevator pitch' to market their idea.
This activity will encourage students to build on their experience of working to deadlines, teamwork, planning, marketing, presentation skills and market research, whilst encouraging them to use their creativity and initiative.

SIM Venture - Online Business simulation game
Students are given the opportunity to run a business in a safe environment, where they can learn about Marketing, Business, Finance, Human Resources, Law, Accountancy...and how to make a profit!!

During this day the students will also have the chance to find out more about studying at university and what courses and career paths may be available to them.
