Full event details

Our Medical Sciences Discovery Day will offer students the chance to find out more about the
science and research that underpins medicine.

It will provide the opportunity for students to investigate specific scientific disciplines, and will help to provide a link between what students are currently studying and how it is applied outside of the classroom.

Students will participate in interactive workshops and find out more about subjects such as immunology, anatomy, physiology, rheumatology, virology and molecular biology.

Students will also find out about which A levels or equivalent are required for moving onto studying these subjects as part of degree programmes available at university and the types of careers that they can lead onto.
