We are committed to widening participation in HE and we work to encourage students who are currently under-represented to explore their options and pathways into Higher Education.

Due to limited availability, and in order to ensure that we can engage with the widest possible number of schools and colleges across West Yorkshire, we are recommending that institutions offer Year 12 students who fit any of the following Widening Participation criteria the opportunity to attend the HE Student Conference:

•Predicted to gain between 120 – 260 UCAS Points
•First-generation university applicants
•Care leavers
•Particular interest in vocational courses
