Full event details

The Year 10 health taster day is designed to give year 10 pupils a taste of studying courses related to health and social care at University. Based around a case study, pupils will gain an insight into nursing, radiography, rehabilitation and either social work or working with children and families.

The taster day runs from 10am till 2:15pm and includes a welcome, a 50 minute taster in each subject area with a break for lunch, and evaluation. The event gives year 10 pupils an insight into studying these subjects at degree level but is pitched for year 10 understanding.
