It is a broad-based academic health, wellbeing and social care programme which covers topics such as food and health, complementary and alternative medicine and community health and wellbeing.

This course considers current practice and future directions for improving the health and wellbeing of the whole community. It identifies economic, social and environmental factors that influence our health, and emphasises the need for strategic initiatives through partnerships between health, social care and other public, private and voluntary sector organisations.
