Develop interview skills and techniques
Build confidence and self-esteem
Practice technique with peers
Take part in mock interviews with tutor feedback
This course will aim to give each individual the differentiation factor so that they are capable of gaining the competitive edge in what is a pretty tough market place.

Students are given the ability to ask any questions they may have about the Oxbridge application process, whether it be academic or general.

Students will learn skills to think fast, listen accurately and communicate effectively. These are not only relevant skills for Oxbridge but lifelong skills that will remain with you throughout your life.

The course will cover how to use your body correctly both physical, and vocal, which will undoubtedly help in the interview situation. Our aim is to transform a student’s presentation of himself/herself so that he/she is likely to 'perform' at a winning level of performance with confidence, enthusiasm, passion, integrity, balance, energy and knowledge.

The course will look in great detail at research and preparation before any interview. Research is an area which needs careful and prolonged consideration and will not only give you a guide to successful research but also how to implement that research in an interview.

Preparation is also vital in respect of ones’ confidence levels and a thorough knowledge of personal strengths, qualities, skills and achievements is encouraged. Techniques to apply these to your subject and within an interview are also widely covered.

Much time is spent on applying other skills such as advanced listening techniques and how to use these to your advantage in an interview. Plus continual reference to positive versus negative attitude/words/phrases/discussions/debates. Clearly in addition, general tips regarding Oxbridge interview and examples of questions for the majority of subjects is presented.

What students say ...

The day is hard work, yet it is dynamic and fun. It is not an easy option and does require a great deal of thought and participation.

However, much is gained and as one Oxbridge student recently said "I loved it, whilst it was hard work, it gave a fabulous insight into how to give your best in an interview and what things you might expect. Overall a fantastic day!"

This event is taking place in London on the 29th October and Birmingham on the 28th October.
