Full event details

A one-day session for students who are thinking of applying to do a Physics degree at university. They will experience some hands-on practical activities in our teaching laboratories, and hear two lectures by scientists talking about their work. The students will also have the opportunity to ask our admissions tutor any questions that they may have about the UCAS process. There is an optional evening lecture about particle physics and exotic new detectors.

This taster course is open to year 12 students or anyone considering starting their undergraduate studies in September 2016. You must be studying Mathematics AND Physics at AS Level (or equivalent) to attend this taster course.
