Full event details

Come to the University of Readiong and study English Literature for a day.
We will look in detail at the atmospheric short story ‘Green Tea’, by Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu. Research-active academics will guide:a mini-lecture on Victorian medicine and mysticism; seminars, practising close-reading in small groups; a workshop, discussing the narrative frame; writing practice, planning an essay on Gothic literature.
