In the morning, social work staff give presentations on what admissions staff are looking for in prospective students and what the university’s BA Hons Social Work programme is like.

In the afternoon, students attend two activities, which they select from the following:
••Interview skills
••Personal statements
••Presentation skills
••Social work practice – ‘Dilemmas’
••A student’s view of social work
••Campus tour.
