Counselling, Coaching and Mentoring Taster Day

Counselling, Coaching and Mentoring has been designed to equip students with the knowledge, practical skills, maturity and self-awareness to work in a variety of helping and enabling roles. An integral element of the programme is placement activity, through which students learn to apply the theories and skills learned on the course.
The day will include personality tests and classroom tasks, classroom activities and input from course tutors to enable students to develop their understanding of the subject area. Tutors will undertake a real life coaching experiment during the session which students will observe and discuss.
