Full event details

The claim that God can be known at all is a contentious one to many people in the contemporary world but it forms and important part of the bedrock of Theology.
Our systematic theologian will be "Challenging Traditional Christianity". We will take a fascinating look at church history demonstrating how is useful in today's world. Our Biblical scholar will discuss the scriptures and their continued relevance.
For those of you interested in what value Christianity has today, the answers might lie in the lectures given on the day. The course as taught at Heythrop takes a look at Christianity from many different perspectives.
It will also be possible to have a tour of campus and to meet and mingle with staff and students from the courses, over the lunch hour. A more detailed programme of the day(s) will be available from our web site.

This taster course is open to year 11 and year 12 students or anyone who is thinking of starting their undergraduate studies in September 2014. No prior knowledge is assumed.
