New Teachers’ Guide to University – request your copy!

Released ready for the 2018-19 academic year

Every year UniTasterDays produce a free Teachers’ Guide to University brochure, to support schools and colleges with all aspects of the higher education information, advice and guidance they provide to students.

The new version is out now, and we think it is our best yet.

This has been produced in collaboration with the great folks at HELOA, and features editorial from over 20 universities throughout the UK, to support teachers with the information, advice and guidance they provide to students, as well as exclusive editorial from the King of all things finance, the fantastic MoneySavingExpert himself, Martin Lewis.

Sound good? What else is in it...

Content includes advice for schools on effective university engagement, booking university events, the different types of university offers, the Gatsby benchmarks with university in mind, a student’s transition to higher education, university accommodation, what universities look for in a student and if university is a good career choice for students.

We don’t stop there, it also covers what current students wish they had been told about university, support with personal statements, engaging parents, supporting students with university research and university accommodation.

As well as introductions to university widening participation, the National Collaborative Outreach Scheme (NCOP), degree apprenticeships, support for students suffering with mental health problems, College HE and university courses.

How to get a copy?

Not bad hey? And better still, it is completely free for schools.
