This 45-minute event supported school and college colleagues (including careers colleagues, Heads of Year and Senior Leadership teams) who were interested in finding out more about the provision of university guidance in the online environment.

Sessions focussed on Gatsby Benchmark 7, the different types of online events on offer for schools, as well as an opportunity to hear more about how other schools have approached the delivery of effective university guidance.

Marie introduced Gatsby Benchmark 7 – and a school and colleges obligations within it. The session focussed on how schools and colleges can work towards meeting Gatsby Benchmark 7, and specifically how to make encounters with higher education meaningful in the current context.

Jess Cook (AKA The Careers Lady). A Level 6 qualified Careers Professional, currently providing support across five schools in Wiltshire, as well as consulting for UniTasterDays.

Jess discusses how she has organised university guidance events in the online environment for the five schools she is working with. She provides an overview of the advantages of online university guidance events - including top tips for schools and colleges seeking to organise them.

He also provides tips covering the easiest way to book events - to take advantage of the great range of opportunities on offer.
