Students photograph and observe graffiti in Digbeth (or from a photo library), bringing selected letterforms into the studio to analyse and redraw. They will then deconstruct each letter’s anatomy, refine its structure, and transform expressive graffiti marks into more structured typographic forms. The workshop culminates in creating part of a alphabet from their evolved letter designs.
