Speaker: Dr Koldo Casla, Senior Lecturer in International Human Rights Law at Essex Law School.

What's it about?:
What are human rights and how did they develop? In this session you’ll explore where the idea of human rights came from, how these principles became part of law, and why they still matter today. Learn how human rights connect to the history of England and the UK, and how they influence politics, justice, and everyday life.
