Our next A-Level History Conference Day will take place on 14 December 2022 with a programme that compliments the curriculum, gives tips for exams, and introduces students to the experience of studying History at University.
Our programme aims is to provide themes, advice and tips guaranteed to enhance your historical knowledge and understanding. We also aim to help get you those precious extra marks in your exams and coursework!
Our first two ‘boosters’ take place on 14 December between 3-4.45pm on the subjects of Experience and Memory of WW2 and The Wars of the Roses: The end of the Middle Ages? The sessions will be led by highly-accomplished and well-published historians in these fields and there will be a Q&A after their presentations. These sessions can be accessed remotely and you are more than welcome to attend just one of them.

3.00-3.45: Experience and Memory of WW2 (Professor Lucy Noakes)
4.00-4.45: The Wars of the Roses: The end of the Middle Ages? (Dr Thomas Freeman)
4.45: FOND FAREWELL (until the next boosters: information to follow)
Teachers can register for the event and watch with a group of students, or students can sign up individually.
