This session uses Japan to introduce students to
a range of topics and issues that are critical to the
global tourism industry, from new and emerging
types of tourism to how the industry is dealing with
climate change and other external pressures.

This session:
> defines key types of tourism > identifies current issues in the tourism industry
> discusses how the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals are changing tourism
> assesses the future of tourism.
