Discover how to interpret moments of history as manifested through works of art through this taster lecture. You will look at historical periods and their cultures, from painting, ceramics, architecture, and landscapes to broader reflections on the nature of the historical discipline and its applications. Analysing particular forms of art will help you to understand and appreciate the art forms in both a historical and creative perspective.

The move from Sixth Form to University is an exciting new experience that allows you to immerse yourself in your chosen subject/s whilst preparing you for life after university. Please join us for this university-style lecture, delivered by our Art History faculty.
