Delve into the world of literature with this academic taster lecture. The study of English Literature at New College of the Humanities encompasses a variety of different literary texts from 1550 to the present, learning how writers have responded to their contexts, cultures, and the literature of their contemporaries.

You’ll begin to develop your creative responses and find yourself approaching a diverse range of literary works from both a critical and creative perspective.

The move from Sixth Form to University is an exciting new experience that allows you to immerse yourself in your chosen subject/s whilst preparing you for life after university. Please join us for this university-style lecture, delivered by our English faculty.
