Full event details

This event will take place at the Wolverhampton City Centre campus at the University of Wolverhampton. This event is suitable for year 11 and above.

Students will have both the opportunity to experience a session in our labs, as they work through a diagnostic case, running various tests and suggesting a diagnosis. They will also get to hear from our lecturers on exciting topics.

Dr Wayne Heaselgrave gives a fascinating taster lecture on “Acanthamoeba: The Eye Eating Amoeba” and Dr Iain Nicholl will discuss “The Road to the Catenins: from DNA Repair to Novel Aspirin-Derived Drugs for Cancer Treatment” with students.

Students will also get the opportunity to sit down with our existing students to ask about the course, the university, student life and anything else they are brave enough to ask!

The event will start at 10:00 finishing at 14:00.

If you have any questions and to book places, please email Paul at [email protected]
