Discovering music degrees
Taught by: Alex De Lacey, Department of Music
Friday 12 November 2021 – 1.40–2.40pm
In this right4me Music webinar for schools and colleges, two institutions, Goldsmiths, University of London and Leeds Conservatoire, will each talk to your students for just over 20 minutes to convey the requirements, format and strengths of their Music degree courses, highlighting areas that differentiate their courses from others and drawing upon student experience and progression.
This is ideal for current Year 12 and 13 students who have an idea about what degree course they are interested in but would like to talk to different institutions in order to make informed comparisons. This session will be particularly interesting for students who would like to understand the difference between studying Music at a university and studying at a conservatoire.
We will be joined by James Rew from Leeds Conservatoire and Dr Alex de Lacey from Goldsmiths.
The event will be dynamic and fast-paced, with 30 minutes scheduled for both speakers and time for interaction and questions.
