Drama and Performance – University Taster
This workshop is split into two parts, A talk that explores the different routes into higher education and student life as a drama student and a practical workshop that gives a taste of a lecture at university. For this workshop we have several subjects to cover. Below is a list of the specific practical workshops you can choose to go with the talk. We can also offer a series of workshops running over a number of weeks to cover all of this content for your students.
- Stereotypes and spontaneous improvisation
- Grotowski’s ‘The Wave’ and Personal Props
- Exploring your environment – using sound and space
- Developing work with theatre practitioners (We have a list of practitioners we will use but feel free to make any requests and we can see what we can do for you.)

Recent graduates Remy and Olivia are ready to work with your students to improve their knowledge, confidence, and skills to take the next steps in their education journey. Through authentic accounts of their own experiences, Remy and Olivia can equip your students with the tools they need to progress into a career in Drama and Performance.
