Want your pupils to explore the vocational opportunities available to them after school? This event considers both university and apprenticeships as next steps, with sessions focussed on making that next step, the right one.
Based at UCB, this event will highlight vocational pathways available to pupils. Sessions will explore the advantages and disadvantages of both vocational HE options and apprenticeships.
Pupils will hear from current vocational degree students as well as from current apprentices. The day will also include a talk from a local employer who will emphasise skills needed in today’s jobs market. In addition, pupils will all undertake an assessment centre task in order to gain a greater understanding of application processes, including the increasingly common, assessment centre.
