Full event details

We start with a brief overview of the MiRo robot and its special web-based simulator, MiRoCloud.

After a quick tutorial, the attendees will get a chance to try out programming MiRo with support from the tutor.

Develop behaviours and actions intuitively using MiRoCODE, a visual programming interface based on Blockly.

No prior experience in coding or robotics is necessary.

Itinerary:
4:00pm - Log in and get comfortable
4:15pm - Welcome and introduction to the department
4:30pm - Interactive subject taster: hands on and interactive session with the MiRo robot
5:45pm - Q&A with current undergraduate students
5:55pm - Closing remarks and next steps
