You will get to meet our wonderful team of student ambassadors, as well as academics and industry professionals. You'll also complete a research project which you'll present virtually with your peers

The Virtual Summer School is a 5-day online programme.
Your timetable will include interactive subject-specific lectures and seminars, university information, such as personal statements, finance, interviewing and choosing a university and course, and sessions to support the development of your study skills to prepare you for the transition to university.
You'll also get to meet our wonderful team of student ambassadors studying the courses you are aspiring to, as well as academics and industry professionals.
In addition, you'll work in groups to complete a research project in your specialised subjects, which you will present virtually to your peers, university academics and staff. We'll also be offering a variety of evening entertainment including quizzes, clubs and society tasters and well-being activities.
The week will be a mixture of screen work, independent study and reading, and you will not be expected to sit in front of a computer screen for the entirety of the week.
