How can science and technology be used to improve how we use our planet’s resources and, hence, help achieve the UN’s sustainability goals? We want you to tell us your ideas and we’re going to publish the best one on our web site. Cash prize for your school.

"Science and technology are key here. How can we use Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geology, Psychology, Geography, Engineering, Computer-Science and so on to make people’s lives better or to reduce humanity’s impact on the Earth? Your idea may be something small and simple but potentially life-changing or it could be some grand scheme requiring decades of work and trillions of pounds. It’s up to you.
We’d like you or your school group to design a web-page, illustrating your ideas, and we do mean “design” not “build”! We’ll build it for you, if you win. We’re just looking for a “mock-up” — a document that shows us what your page would look like. So, you don’t need any web-building skills, just some really good science ideas and some really good design ideas. Think of it as an on-line poster but a poster that could, if you wish, have links to external web pages.
A prize of £250 has been generously provided by Callia Web who will also help with the judging. "
