What to expect on a computer science course
John talks about why you should study computer science at university. He explains what the course is about, and how you are able to design and build software, as well as develop ways to solve computing problems.

John speaks about the topics you will study such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality and app creation. Not only will you look at the theoretical side of the degree, but you will also be able to explore the practical aspects which will help you to develop essential skills valued by employers. John looks at the range of companies you can work with after university and highlights the broad careers options available to computer science graduates. Finally, he touches on the specific, technical skills you will develop on this degree.

Computer science myth-busting
Adriana talks about the variety of topics you can study on a computer science degree, with a range of compulsory and optional modules.

Adriana explains what human-centric computing is at university and human-centric teaching, which enables you to get the most out of your studies. Adriana goes on to speak about the broad range of areas you can learn and research independently on this degree, and looks at the myths surrounding computer science.

The entry requirements for this course will vary from university to university and it is important to do your research about your chosen institution, explains Adriana. She looks at scholarships that are available on a computer science course, before ending with a Q&A session regarding issues such as personal statements and extra-curricular opportunities.
