From engaging in studio composition, sound design and production for TV and Film, animation, computer games audio design, music video, broadcast, performance and sound engineering, students will get a taste of what it would be like to be a Creative Music Technology at UWTSD's Swansea College of Art.

The department is a pioneer in innovative teaching and learning practice. We operate the “connected campus studios” where students and staff can collaborate, record and perform High Definition audio exchange between studios, at home or on campus, in real-time through a combination of remote login and cloud-based audio-packet streaming. In this way, students have access to specialist facilities to record performers, artists and musicians in-house, or remotely from any studio in the world.

Please join us for weekly sessions introducing you to our connected campus studios and the subjects covered within the degree course. We’ll provide you with useful tips for applying, share some current student work, and show you the specialist facilities we have on offer.

It’s your chance to ask questions, meet the teaching team and get a good understanding of what it means to work in the ever-changing creative industry. The sessions are informal and friendly, and there’s also the chance to test your skills with a few simple online activities.

Please visit our website for session times, and send an enquiry if you would like to arrange a bespoke session for a school or college group.
