Full event details

From exploring notions of body, material and wearability, this Experimental Contemporary Jewellery Design online workshop will allow students to explore concepts and ideas surrounding contemporary art jewellery and what possible interpretations of this might be.

Using found materials and domestic objects students will experiment with creating unexpected jewels and documenting their work being worn on the body.

A step-by-step handout about the projects and materials lists will be issued prior to the workshops and staff will discuss making techniques and processes as well as give examples and demonstrations of how they work and create.

The session will run from 10am – 11:30am but bespoke sessions can be arranged for school or college group bookings.
