Work at Saint Kitchen Experience will give young people in Year 12 and 13 a practical and intensive opportunity to experience working in the hospitality sector. This will be a two-hour work experience where young people will have private access to Saint Kitchen in Jewellery Quarter to receive some barista and service training. Young people will also hear from the owner of Saint Kitchen and learn how she came to own her coffee shop and run a business. Young people will have missed opportunities to have work experience during the pandemic. This workshop will allow Year 12/13 to gain valuable hospitality skills they can use in the future when applying for hospitality jobs full time or part time during their studies.
