Business application of social media
Social media is powerful! Not only does it provide us with the opportunity to connect with our friends, but it also allows businesses the opportunity to connect to the public and customers.

In this session, students will take on various challenges to explore the components of a social media plan. They’ll also examine the different ways social media platforms (think TikTok, Snapchat, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram) can be utilised to contribute to business success.

Web design
With well over a billion websites in the world, competition is high. So how can we capture the interest of customers? This is where the skills of a web developer come into play, from ensuring a company’s image is correctly portrayed, to making sure the customer is not confused or frustrated by making sure the website has usability and can be easily navigated. In this session, students will explore the components of a website as well as being introduced to coding languages used to construct sites, such as HTML.
