Live Webinar: Personal Statements - Making a Statement

As part of Aberystwyth’s webinar series ""Your Guide to Higher Education: Making it from Application to Arrival", this session aims to prepare prospective students for writing their Personal Statement:

-A brief introduction to the UCAS system
-A general overview of the structure of the Personal Statement
-Writing the Introduction
-What to think about when talking about your subject choice
-Why including information about Extra-Curricular activities is important
-Writing the Conclusion

There will be interactive elements with a poll/quiz for participants to complete, and there will also be a Q&A session with our Student Ambassadors.
The students should come away from this session with plenty of ideas so they can begin to write their Personal Statement with confidence.
