In this talk, I’ll discuss why studying English Literature at university is valuable, both in the job market specifically and more generally as a analytical crucial tool to help you live and operate in the world. I'll go over why Aston's English Literature joint-honours programme is different from other English Literature programmes, will explain the placement year, our modules and reading lists, the types of assessment you will undertake, the skills you will hone here, and what the general culture of the English Literature department is like.
