This event will allow learners to gain insight and experience of UCB’s courses in Aviation and Airport Management and Cabin Crew and Airport Operations. The day will also give them insight into the history of aviation and careers in this area through interactive sessions and speakers.
This event will encourage pupils, through interactive sessions and lessons, to understand more about the careers available in Aviation, Cabin Crew and Airport Operations. This event will give learners an insight into the pathways into these careers and a hands on opportunity to experience the ins and outs of roles in Cabin Crew and Airport Security.
The event will run from 10:00 - 14:00.

Aspiration – Encourage them to feel confident in applying to post 16 choices.
Awareness - Understand the necessity of HE for progression to certain careers in Aviation.
Attainment - Recognise that GCSE and post 16 qualifications are required to access HE courses (such as Aviation and Cabin Crew).
Application - Identification and application to a post 16 option (UCB staff will give details into what they look for in applicants).
Access - Have an awareness of the learning environment in HE and student life by the use of campus and student experience talk.
