The BSc (Hons) Investment and Financial Risk Management, BSc (Hons) Banking and International Finance and BSc (Hons) Finance degrees are delivered by Cass Business School, one of Europe’s leading business schools. If you're interested in becoming a trader, a fund manager, a broker or analyst in any area of finance, the Cass BSc Investment and Financial Risk Management degree is for you. This degree is very highly regarded within the City, as evidenced by our excellent career prospects: employers know that our graduates come equipped with all the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in finance.

The BSc in Banking and International Finance gives students an in-depth knowledge of banking (commercial, retail and investment, risk management and regulation), international finance (foreign exchange), and financial markets (equity, fixed income and derivatives). Much of the teaching is based on real-world changes in the economy and therefore highly current and dynamic.

The BSc in Finance degree provides you with the academic knowledge and skills required to operate in the increasingly competitive world of finance. As a graduate of this course, you will be well-placed to enter a career in the finance industry, in the finance function in a corporation, in consulting, or in regulation and government.

This Taster Session is designed to be a short and focused look at a degree in the finance field. We will take you through all the core areas of study, give you some examples of the careers you can expect to go into, and provide you with examples of how you will put your skills to use.

The talks are designed to encourage and support students through the application process, whilst informing them about what City, University of London has to offer. The programme of talks is constantly being reviewed and updated so most requests can be catered for.

These talks are designed for groups of Year 12 and 13 students with a general interest in Higher Education and who, ideally, would be expecting to meet the City entry requirements for their chosen programme.

**School Visits to City University, London**
School visits are an excellent opportunity for your students to see what a city-based institution is really like. We offer bespoke visits to campus for your students to experience life at City, University of London. These visits can be tailored to your individual requirements.

They are generally made up of UCAS sessions and subject tasters.

**Subject specific talks**
We can also arrange subject specific talks, delivered by City, University of London's lecturers. If you would like to involve our lecturers in your next round of subject talks, please do get in touch and we will aim to support your programme of events.

These talks are designed for groups of Year 12 and Year 13 students with a specific subject interest, who would be expected to meet the entry requirements for their appropriate programme.

This is a free service and most sessions last between 30 minutes and one hour, although it is possible to alter the sessions depending upon the needs of the school/college.
