The BSc (Hons) Investment and Financial Risk Management, BSc (Hons) Banking and International Finance and BSc (Hons) Finance degrees are delivered by Cass Business School, one of Europe’s leading business schools. Part of City, University of London, Sir John Cass Business School is ranked amongst the top 5 business schools in the UK.

If you're interested in becoming a trader, a fund manager, a broker or analyst in any area of finance, the Cass BSc Investment and Financial Risk Management degree is for you. This degree is very highly regarded within the City, as evidenced by our excellent career prospects: employers know that our graduates come equipped with all the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in finance.

The BSc in Banking and International Finance gives students an in-depth knowledge of banking (commercial, retail and investment, risk management and regulation), international finance (foreign exchange), and financial markets (equity, fixed income and derivatives). Much of the teaching is based on real-world changes in the economy and therefore highly current and dynamic.

The BSc in Finance degree provides you with the academic knowledge and skills required to operate in the increasingly competitive world of finance. As a graduate of this course, you will be well-placed to enter a career in the finance industry, in the finance function in a corporation, in consulting, or in regulation and government.

This Subject Session is designed to be a short and focused chance to hear about a degree in the finance field. We will take you through all the core areas of study, give you some examples of the careers you can expect to go into, and provide you with examples of how you will put your skills to use.

Subject sessions are best geared for anyone thinking of starting their undergraduate studies in September 2021 and expect to achieve City's course requirements.
