City, University of London's online subject sesions are predominatly for current year 12 students. This university subject session will provide you with an insight into what degree-level Computer Science is like before applying to City.

This online event will give you an insight into academic study at degree level. You will hear from members of the derpartment regarding areas of study, projects and about careers in the Computing industry.
A Computer Science degree provides a systematic knowledge of the foundations of computing, the structure of programming languages and the skills to code creatively. It focuses on how programming can be used to solve real-world problems, equipping students with the skills for a range of careers, such as business computing, games development and research in the IT industry.
We also offer four-year MSci degrees. In particular the new Data Science MSci is aimed at equipping our students with the necessary skills to prepare, analyse and visualize big data. They will have the chance to develop computational models of complex systems, which are skills that are essential in becoming an IT professional in the data intensive transformation that is reshaping the way our society operates.
Subject sessions are best geared for anyone thinking of starting their undergraduate studies in September 2021 and expect to achieve City's course requirements.
