Explore the transformative impact of education and its role in society.

At our taster day our lecturers will help you explore these issues and gain a better understanding of how insights from sociology, philosophy, history and psychology can be applied to real-world challenges in education and society. You will have a taster lecture, drawn from one of our modules, meet current students and staff and be able to take a tour of the faculty and the wider UCL campus.

At the end of the day there will be an opportunity to attend our undergraduate poster conference where current students will be presenting examples of their work. The UCL Institute of Education is a world-leading centre for education and related social science, ranked number one in the world for education for the last six years in the QS World University Rankings by subject. The degree is run by experts and draws on the world-leading research in education taking and draws on the world-leading research in education taking place at the IOE.

The interdisciplinary nature of the programme leads to a wide range of career pathways in areas including education, charities and NGOs, policy making and research.
