The session also helps to build students’ confidence and sense of achievement during independent study which is vital to keeping their motivation during long months of revision before GCSE exams.
Finally, students will learn to prioritise their targets and limit their distractions from studies.

**Get Skilled is a suite of talks aiming to help students develop skills vital for academic and career progression. The sessions have been developed by professions from the University of Reading and can be delivered by UoR outreach staff or Study Higher staff. this is a Study Higher funded project and therefore priority will be given to Study Higher target schools for these talks.
