Full event details

Robotics and autonomous systems are starting to be ever more present in our everyday lives, from self-driving cars to in-home care systems. The government has also identified robotics and autonomous systems as one of the ‘Eight Great Technologies’ where Britain is or can be a global leader. As a result the demand for highly intelligent autonomous systems is ever increasing, as is the demand for highly qualified graduates both in academia and industry to realise such systems.

The University of Liverpool is a Russell group member and is ranked in the top 1% of higher education institutions world-wide. The school of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science runs several research-led undergraduate courses which are focused around various aspects of robotics and autonomous systems. The school also fosters strong links with industry (Rolls-Royce, Bentley, AWE, etc.) and other professional bodies (IET,IEEE).
