College Have A Go Session: Cabin Crew and Travel and Tourism

UCB offers ‘Have a Go’ opportunities aimed at Year 10 and 11 students.

Come fly away let’s fly away with UCB. Take a step into the world of travel and tourism an exciting industry that can take people all over the world. Students will start their journey with a pre-flight briefing lead by our cabin crew training team. They will then get a taste of how cabin crew students develop essential skills for life in the skies. From carrying out a cabin crew emergency drill (think oxygen masks, brace positions, seatbelt fastening and life jackets) to how to deliver first class customer service. Upon coming into land from your cabin crew experience students will get to grips with the roles and responsibilities of travel reps working overseas. The opportunity to ‘Have a Go’ enables students to apply their skills in an industry-style environment and discover their ideal career. Your students will be feel on top of the world at the end of the day*.

*Bookings after December 2019 will have their sessions delivered in our brand new ‘UCB Aviation Academy’. This investment features exciting new simulation facilities, including a state-of-the-art, mock plane cabin, check-in areas and Galileo GDS system.

Sessions last for 2/3 hours and are available every other week on Fridays from November 2019 – June 2020.
