Full event details

The aim of the trip is to inspire students to push themselves to experience new opportunities. A full packed and intensive day! Students will be leave New Street Station at approximately 8am and will travel to London via train.
Students will take the underground through the city and will visit the Natural History Museum and Science Museum. After a short break for some lunch students will attend a matinee West End show, will enjoy dinner in a restaurant before travelling back to Birmingham.

The event will run from 08:00 - 21:00.

Year Group:
Year 10

Gatsby Benchmarks:
2, 4 and 6.

Learning Objectives:
- Students to increase their cultural capital as they visit a city outside of the West Midlands
- To immerse students in activity such as attending museums and a west end show to develop students awareness of arts and culture
- To meet students from surrounding schools to develop transferable skills such as confidence, geographical mobility and independence.
