Full event details

Students will spend the day in a series of self-chosen interactive workshops and taster sessions to establish which area of STEM they feel best suited to. They will also take part in practical workshops to develop the skills necessary for a smooth transition to student STEM subjects at Higher Education level.

The event will run from 09:30 - 15:00.

Learning Objectives:
- An opportunity for student studying STEM A-Levels to really explore the breadth of careers and HE options within STEM
- For students to make informed decisions about the commitment and complexity of studying a STEM course
- To hear from current STEM students to learn ‘things they wish they had known’ to support to transition to studying a STEM subject
