This event allows students to sample a day in the life of a University student, as they complete a series of workshops and activities embedding the skills necessary to succeed in Higher Education.
Students will experience a full day on Aston University campus and must demonstrate they have the skills and knowledge to navigate University life. Students will be given an individual timetable and will be responsible (alongside our current students) to navigate their way around the University, to cook for themselves, to attend a lecture, to budget their finances, to independently study and to finally test their team work skills as they present back a group project to the rest of the group.
A wonderful chance for students to make an informed decision about whether University life is best suited, at home or away, and to ensure they have all the necessary skills to thrive and succeed in higher education.
