An opportunity for students studying French at GCSE, or considering languages for their GCSE options to become re-enthused about studying a language. Students will become more confident about their spoken language skills through practice and attend a workshop to learn where studying a language could take you.
Students will meet fluent French speakers posing as market stall holders, as they complete a series of challenges to test their French language skills.
In an interactive workshop students will learn about the benefits of studying a language at FE and HE. They will hear from real life experiences of University students studying a MFL and will learn which careers are available for linguists.
This is a half day event from 09:30 - 12:00 or 12:30 - 15:00.
