Full event details

Students will get to view a place of work as they tour the JLR manufacturing plant. Students will meet different professionals within varied roles within he JLR company and will learn about pathways to engineering careers.
Students will be taking part in interactive activities to practice essential skills needed to succeed within engineering.

The event will run from 09:30 - 15:00.

Year Group(s):
22nd October 2019 - Year 10
26th November 2019 - Year 12
9th June 2020 - Year 10

2, 4, 5 and 6.

Learning Objectives:
- To increase students awareness of careers and courses in engineering
- To increase students’ knowledge of STEM pathways through non-conventional HE routes such as apprenticeships
- To meet current professionals and learn their educational journeys to their current careers
