Event Summary:

This session provides a thorough introduction to two courses we teach here at BCU - Landscape Architecture and Product Design. Students will learn through a number of practical workshops which aim to guide them through the intricacies of these fascinating fields.

Full Event Details:

Landscape Architecture is the design of the world outside, as a combination of art, utility and natural systems. Through guided exploration of personal design and research process, you will explore and unwrap many layers to reveal the unlimited storyboard of design options that our landscape represents. Product and furniture design focuses on the design and development of creative, contemporary and innovative products and furniture. At this explore day you will be tasked to explore creative possibilities of structural investigation as a generative method in design.

Our new Explore series offers students in years 11, 12 and 13 a taste of degree level study on campus.

With many events offering the chance to experience several different workshops over the course of one day, this unique opportunity encourages students to broaden their understanding of the different courses available in each area.
