SHIBORI LAMBSWOOL (KNIT WORKSHOP)
In this workshop you will learn to knit a length of lambswool on a Domestic knitting machine, you will then be
shown how to tie in elements to create the Shibori effect with design advice from the tutor. The piece will then be dyed in our lab using Industry standard dye technology before being felted and dried on site.
SUBLIMATION PRINTING (PRINT WORKSHOP)
In this workshop you will be required to bring your own imagery, and using sublimation dyes, create a unique hand
painted design on paper with advice from the tutor. This will then be heat pressed onto chiffon for use as a fashion or interior application.
The two workshops will run simultaneously, so participants need to specify which workshop they want to join. All materials will be supplied at no cost to participants and a simple lunch will be provided during the break.
