Full event details

Sessions can be delivered on campus or, if you are local to Keele, in your school/college. All events are subject to staff and space availability. Please specify your topic preference in your request. Talks can be adapted to last for anywhere between 30 minutes and 1 hour.

Morality and Murder - Murder is one of the most serious crimes in Britain, but when might it be acceptable to kill someone? Is it OK to kill in self-defence? This session will look at these questions and students will take on the role of a jury and decide what they would do.

What Would You Criminalise? - Writing the criminal law is not easy. But this is your chance to have a go. What would you like to make a crime? How would your idea fit with the principles of criminal law? In this session you will get the chance to take the role of the lawmaker and see whether you could put your ideas into legislation.

**Note - bespoke sessions also available in medical law, mental health, negligence, human rights and others are available on request.**
