This masterclass will enable students to explore the fascinating field of biochemistry. In this session, students will conduct analysis of urine, blood and faecal samples (all fake but authentic) to reveal clues about disease. Using case studies based on patients with diabetes, cancer, urinary tract infections and kidney disease students will have the chance to see how results from the clinical chemistry lab are used to help diagnose the physiological basis of illness.
