'How to get to the Bar’ Sixth Form Law Conference (Year 12 & 13) - Saturday 13th October 2018 9.30am - 2.45pm

Held at St Philips Law Chambers in Birmingham City Centre, this conference invites Year 12 and 13 students to discover more about studying for a Law degree and pursuing a career in this profession. In the morning, students will hear from one of Aston University's Law academics who will discuss top tips on applying for a law degree at university and advice on how to write an effective personal statement.

In the afternoon, sessions will be delivered from a range of professionals from within the industry and will include advice on how to get to the bar and the different specialisms within the law. Students will also have the opportunity to network with experts over lunch and during our question and answer session at the end of the day.

A maximum of 10 students per school or college in the first instance.
